Background

In December 2020, the National Restaurant Association has released a survey based on the answers of more than 6,000 restaurant operators and 250 supply chain businesses in the United States which employ 12 million people.

The Association sent a letter to the United States Congress and urged the leaders to react to alarming statistics received by the industry.

Challenge

Create a series of infographics visualizing COVID’s impact on three US industries: the Restaurant Industry, the Aviation Industry and the Hospitality Industry.

Solution

I have analyzed the statistical information released by the the National Restaurant Association and visualized the data in a form of infographics. Since the infographic is text-heavy, I have created a series of abstract icons showing some of the popular products associated with the Restaurant Industry.
