Background
“The virus has broken through cultural and technological barriers that prevented remote work in the past.”
– McKinsey & Company
As a result of the pandemic, 66% of US employees began to work from home at least part of the week. Some industries have switched to remote work and successfully use Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Skype and Google Hangouts for collaboration between their employees.
Challenge
Illustrate statistical information for remote work in the United States.
Solution
I have checked statistical information published by a number of reputable sources, including Clutch.co, Statista, McKinsey & Company and Slack.
Since my infographics will be delivered in a digital format, I have created a minimalistic layout with mini infographics, bright contrast colours and a few abstract images illustrating work from home. A series of charts visualize the data in an easy to understand way.
