Background
Maths—No Problem! is a series of 24 textbooks and workbooks meeting the requirements of the English national curriculum. This is an award-winning math programme that combines proven learning theories with advanced teaching methodology.
The New Zealand series also contain 24 textbooks and workbooks following the most recent New Zealand curriculum.
My Role
Production Design. I was responsible for the production process, from typesetting to the layout design, creating unique illustrations (both colour and black and white), Preflight checks, preparing proofs, InDesign amends and exporting print-ready files.
Illustration. I was creating unique vector illustrations for the books, from single objects to complex scenes. The illustrations followed the project design system and supported the content of the books.
Master Style Guide. I was editing and updating the Style Guide featuring the guidelines and rules for creating the new edition books and publications.
Marketing. I have provided graphic design support for the company’s marketing, educational projects and events. In addition, I have created booklets and publications for conferences and events.
Project Highlights
• Over 5200 pages (24 UK New Edition books) were created and sent to print in 2022-2023.
• Over 1600 pages (8 NZ New Edition books) were created and sent to print in 2022.
• Over 15000 unique illustrations were added to the library by the team during 2021-2023. The library contains colour and black/white illustrations, from single objects to complex scenes and activities.

The series includes 12 textbooks for students aged 5-11 years. Each book has about 220 pages with bright illustrations and unique content.
