Meridian Magazine is a school project based on my personal project. The publication was planned as an inflight magazine distributed by local airlines for advertising their popular routes and new destinations.
Creating a 20-page publication within three weeks using unique articles and illustrations or photography.
I started the project with research that revealed the following statistics:
1. Nearly 70% of my readers are Baby Boomers or Gen-Xers.
2. 71% of my customers have a university degree.
3. 70% of readers travel outside Canada every year.
I focused on two destinations, one national and one international. I created a layout that had informative articles, friendly illustrations, a warm colour palette and a classic combination of legible typefaces.
