Background

Gold Summit Tutoring is a company based in Vancouver, Canada. The company provides at home tutoring in the following subjects: English, Math, Science.

Challenge

The company needs a logo that would reflect their tagline “Reach your highest potential” and look appealing for their clients, including numerous Chinese students. The logo should show the mountains and can be abstract.

Solution

I created an abstract icon that looked like the mountains and was showing movement upwards. The icon symbolizes strong connection between students and teachers, as well as intrinsic motivation that starts from within.

In collaboration with Emilie St. Pierre, my colleague at Studio Nuvo, we have developed primary and secondary colour palettes that would look attractive for the target audience.

The client has received a whole package of deliverables, including three patterns, a few original illustrations and a favicon for the future website.
